Roped Up

I developed the top image using a straight up approach and a harsh or radical approach. After looking at both of them I think the straight up approach is more appealing. I'm getting a little weary of looking at over cooked harsh images, the current thing among LR newbies.

I agree Clay, the straight up one looks best to me too. People forget too often that you need a good image first which also has to be suitable for the radical approach.

They just think they can make a bad image look great when they cook it in the tone mapping pot.

I like the last one too.:)

Take care,
Henk

Thanks Henk,

Your right. Straight photography has something to be said for it. All the gimmicks get old fast. Everyone does it and it doesn't look good anymore.

I've taking a look at photobucket as a host for my stuff.
