I love photos of people, especially like this one - it captures so much in such a simplistic fashion. Good stuff.

It reminds me of Annie Leibovitz's work.

Greetings T.B.,

This is a portrait without a sitting. This old guy is a street guitarist who has his a fixed spot he occupies at The Market. I was across the street and I was shooting through the crowd and over the hoods of automobiles. I did manage to bring back two useful exposures. Shooting with a bigger camera is causing me some difficulties. Even though my little D-SLR is half the size of a Canon it is still bulky enough to be noticed. I saw a guy walking through the market with a Canon mounted with a monster lens, the outfit looked like it weight over 10lbs. You can be sure he will get no candid shots with that camera. I have a technique for disarming a subject. I arrive and hang around for a while shooting this or that and the subject eventually ignores me and then I go to work.
