The answer depends on where you put the frame. If you frame the entire image than Robert Rauschenberg would be the best choice. If you exclude the metal condiut then de Kooning or Rothko but not Kline since there are no wide and long black brush strokes.

Hans Hoffman is probably a close contender with Rothko.
